I was reading an article the other day about the guy who started Dollar Shave Club. For those of you that don't know, it is essentially a subscription service that delivers razors to your house at a very reasonable price. They also just sold for $1 billion. He went on to talk about how he thought of it because he was annoyed of paying a lot for razors and dealing with the locked cases and annoying process of buying a razor. So he just did it. I thought it was so cool to hear that and I thought it spoke volumes. He did not like what he was doing, so he created a solution. He never intended to make so much money or anything like that, he just thought it was a cool idea and he wanted to do it.

This whole story was inspiring to me because the guy just went after something that he wanted to do, and not many people have the courage to do that. I feel like we all of the idea that you go to school, get a job, eventually retire, and that's just how it goes, but it really does not have to be that. There is nothing wrong with going that route, but I don't know where we all got the idea that we had to do things a certain way. Our lives are all just that, ours. We can do whatever we choose with our lives, and it is always inspiring for me to hear about someone who shaped their own reality.
